21 ICF CCEs from one course: learn a somatic self-regulation practice for yourself, and count the hours towards your ACC, PCC or MCC renewal.
TRE™ Module 1 with Isabelle Claus Teixeira is an ICF-accredited course worth 21 CCEs (16 Resource Development + 5 Core Competencies). You learn a somatic self-regulation practice for yourself, and the hours count towards renewing your ACC, PCC or MCC credential. (CCEs were formerly called CCEUs.)
Coaching asks clients to think clearly, notice patterns and choose new actions. That is hard to do when the nervous system is stuck in stress. More and more coaches are adding body-based practices so that clients — and the coach — can settle before they think.
TRE™ is one of the simplest of these practices. It needs no equipment and no talking about the past, and once learned it becomes a self-care practice you can use for the rest of your life. Module 1 starts with you: your own regulation, your own presence in the room.
How neurogenic tremoring works and why it helps the nervous system release stress.
The full exercise sequence, practised and refined with direct feedback.
Somatic awareness, containment and grounding, so you can practise safely on your own.
A session on self-care and presence for coaches, opening the training.
In Singapore, Module 1 also includes four individual online TRE™ sessions to deepen your practice.
Valid as Module 1 of the Global TRE™ Provider Certification, recognised worldwide.
ICF credentials (ACC, PCC and MCC) are renewed every three years with continuing coach education. CCEs are split into Core Competencies (directly about coaching skills) and Resource Development (knowledge and tools that support your coaching).
Every three years you need 40 CCEs: at least 24 in Core Competencies (including 3 in Coaching Ethics), and up to 16 in Resource Development.
TRE™ Module 1 gives you 16 Resource Development CCEs — your full Resource Development allowance for a cycle — plus 5 Core Competency CCEs. That is more than half of a renewal from a single course. Keep your certificate of completion: you will need it when you log your hours with ICF.
Renewal rules are set by ICF and can change. Check the current requirements on ICF’s renewal page.
21 ICF Continuing Coach Education units: 16 in Resource Development and 5 in Core Competencies.
